Profile
Yuriko Oozono was allegedly once a patriot working for the United Nations. Even in the best of times, the United Nations utilized targeted assassination and other 'wet work' to maintain world peace. Yuriko was among the best in her field; unseen, unheard, unknown. Eventually, she was brought into the fold of the old conspiracy and continued working much as she had before. The ideals of the organization were unimportant, so long as order was maintained. The people did not need to know what kept them safe, only that they were protected. When Black SHIELD fell, Yuriko went to ground and waited, living a cover life as an elementary school teacher; in many ways, a similar profession. When the phone finally rang again, Yuriko returned to the fold on Nebula's behalf. Yuriko is a laconic woman who enjoys a well-ordered home, a warm bath, and the silence of dead enemies. Once, she was a patriot, and perhaps some of that idealism still remains. One day, she may imagine that people like her can be made unnecessary. Until that day comes, she savagely eliminates any threats to the syndicate. Yuriko answers only to Number One.
