The battle of Tora Bora was one of the greatest battles that occured during the invasion of Earth by Ra Moon.

Tora Bora was a large dam and cave complex in Ahfghanistan, which was known centuries ago for being the hiding places of terrorist Osama bin Laden. It was quickly adapted for use by the Robot Gentlemen and Blackguard, providing them with a place to reconstitute their bodies and plot the destruction of Earth.

The Blackguard were betrayed by Linnea Blossom and Protoman, who provided the Maverick Hunters with the location of the base. Upon its discovery, a joint force of Maverick Hunters, Repliforce, Robot Masters and others stormed the base. However, they were quickly seperated by the twisting tunnels of the base, which seemed to change and reshape themselves around the invaders.

The battle was split into several major areas.

The Barracks

The barracks of Tora Bora were used very little, but were supposed to be quarters for the Blackguard. Upon invasion, they reshaped into a cavern-like battlefield.

On the side of good were Max Armour and the UN Power Armor Corps, Sword Man and Fire Man. On the side of Ra Moon were the Blackguard Tengu Man, and the Robot Gentlemen Cryogenic Man.

As the group arrived in the barracks, several large reaverbots sealed off the entrance. Sword Man sought out his traitorous brother Tengu (or as the Gentlemen called him 'Nostril') Man, and engaged him in a duel to the death. Fire Man fought against the copy of his brother Cryogenic Man, and the UN Power Armor corps- consisting of Max Armour, and NPCs Shinobu Armour Bombs Iraki, Akusa, Headcase, Makio Makiya, and three unnamed individuals fought NPC Reaverbots.

Fire Man was at a great disadvantage in his fight, but utilised his flames of anger effectively and fought Cryogenic Man to mutual unconciousness. During this battle, Fire Man espoused his reasons for fighting and the battle became a philosophical one.

Sword Man engaged Tengu brutally. The two were former squadmates as well as brothers, and Tengu was fighting to kill. Sword Man eventually cripped Tengu Man by melting him and fusing his body. He was returned to Dr. Wily, who reinstalled his Wilycode and purged his personality extensively.

Max Armour and his squad fought the reaverbots, although the enemy ranks were almost endless and began to wear them down, exhausting them of ammo. In order to defeat them, the group combined the energy of their power cores directly, creating a variant of the SPIRIT Bomb used collectively by Interpol to destroy Arkady. This flooded the barracks with energy, obliterating all enemy reaverbots.
