Tingzhe Huang

Tingzhe Huang is a middle-aged Chinese man who has spent most of his life in the pocket of organized crime. Most of his siblings were involved in a Triad cell operating in his hometown and died over several years of gang warfare. Tingzhe is the only surviving child, and he did so by allegedly being an informant for a rival Triad which was opposed to the one his family was involved in. The words "honorless dog" are intended to conjure up a vision of someone like Tingzhe.
Tingzhe's family was poor. They supplimented their income through organized crime, but were allegedly employed in an enormous munitions factory to fuel first the Chinese war effort, then the UN's peacekeeping machine. Tingzhe had a certain natural cunning that got him into a middle management position in the factory to get him out of the dirty, hard work that typified life in heavy industry. He leveraged his connections to get into a business college in Singapore, and then gathered some startup capital through some stock dumping scams to start his own business.
Tingzhe's firm, Celestial Steel, attempted to get into the lucrative anti-grav market by manufacturing second-rate emitters for the government. The company was regularly under investigation for bad business practices and narrowly dodged several fatal lawsuits through Tingzhe's carefully cultivated business and government connections. Eventually, even Tingzhe's influence ran out, and he took the management of his firm off-shore to Sri Lanka.
Starting from the bottom of the underworld, Tingzhe conned and backstabbed his way up to a position of comfort and ease. He sold out his firm to the R. Draco Group ten years ago and bought a chunk of both R. Draco and Green Naga to get onto their boards of directors. Since then, Tingzhe acts as both a board member on both companies and a "consultant" to various local firms, allowing him to bilk various shell corporations in the region for a paycheck in return for being a warm body for purposes of investigations into the firms.
Tingzhe Huang is bulletproof. He has been called before the UN on numerous occasions to testify about organized crime, but he flatly denies any involvement. No one will ever submit testimony against him. Those who have tried have met with "accidents". Interpol DESPISES Tingzhe, but again, they have no proof that will ever stand up in court. He's a smooth, cold, career criminal who trusts no one and swears allegiance only to himself -- as far as you know.
