Profile
The Professor is said to have arisen from humble origins, though what those origins were has become lost to history. An eccentric and brilliant man, the Professor was snapped up by the United Nations during the completion of one of his doctoral degrees and put to work as an advisor and developer of new technologies. The relatively mundane work asked of the Professor bored him, and soon he sought new challenges. Black SHIELD was glad to provide him with as much challenge as he could handle. The Professor happily went about the task of arming and equipping Black SHIELD with technologies he devised on his own as well as reverse-engineering alien technology for its secrets. When Black SHIELD lost power, the Professor retreated to his lair and continued his work. He believed when an organization powerful enough to make use of him appeared, they would be compelled to collect him to bring him into their service. In the meantime, the Professor continues his heretical, inhumane experiments to further his monomaniacal desire to achieve total knowledge of the universe. An affable but amoral man, the Professor treats his army of creations, robot and otherwise, like occasionally disobedient but charming children. Their often murderous behavior very occasionally earns them a light scolding if they damage something the Professor finds interesting.
