Profile

Named for and designed after the Japanese bird-demon, Tengu Man is built for aerial superiority, at his best with his feet off the ground. An experimental design built around a powerful jet engine, he wields the power of the storm -- wind, lightning, and the symbolic tri-dagger -- and who better behind the wheel than a cocky, ne'er-do-well teenager? Arrogant and endlessly exuberant, Tengu tends toward extremely reckless and showy behavior, believing himself nigh-invincible. Unfortunately, his experimental status makes him subject to frequent breakdowns and problems in lower temperatures. He's a braggart, and like all braggarts, ultimately insecure. His buttons are easily found and pushed, which his brothers very much enjoy doing, despite his being easily drawn into a murderous rage. Due to the inherently split nature of his personality (part-demon, part-teenager) he is constantly struggling to maintain balance -- one day he'll be on top of the world, the next crashing and burning. His brothers often interpret this as 'teen angst', which is not far off the mark; the problem is, they do everything they can to make it worse. He has little to no love for his brothers as a whole, which has led him into severe conflicts in the past. Simply stated, they don't call him the Punk Judas for nothing.
