Profile
Steel Massimo is not your average Hunter, nor the brightest bulb on the tree. But he is not incapable, nor stupid. Seen somewhat as bumbling and slow due to his lack of non-combat and social abilites, Massimo is a powerful source of muscle and morals in the Maverick Hunters.
He prides himself on his refusal to use lethal force and his trust of others, seeing himself as a sort of superhero. He is not above 'borrowing' from people as the Hunters sometimes need to do in moments of crisis. But it is most notable that Steel Massimo often refuses money or gives it back out to charity, only keeps enough money to buy random gifts for his fellow hunters.
Steel Massimo sees the name 'Steel Massimo' as a mantle. After all, many heroes(in comicbooks) had to pass on their legacy through the ages. Massimo hopes to pass on his legacy one day to a hero who will then go out in the world. He sees himself as a sort of superhero, somewhat delusioned by it, but quick to realize the gravity of situations and limits of his power when they come.
Massimo doesn't want to tell the world his secret because he fears that the idea of Steel Massimo being a simple cop from San Angeles who is now a hero gives the weak and innocent a beacon of hope. Steel Massimo would absolutely hate to take that away from them.
Steel Massimo generally has mixed feelings about the Hunters. He likes people like Rock and Dr. Light, who see the world in a similiar way to he does. He isn't as fond of those likeDr. Cossack and Michael Eildath because of their more cynical and openly belligerent views, though he rarely openly expresses it out of respect. He tries to get along with the Hunters as best as possible, because being a team is important.
Massimo thinks Nana is made of fine and thin glass.
Background
Trivia/Facts
- Massimo has only used lethal force once, cutting out Dr. Psyche's Force Metal Generator and then crushing his head. Unfortunately, it was seconds after Dr. Psyche transferred his brain.
- Massimo once punched the walls of reality along with several other people at the same time. It caused a second to drop out of the time stream. (No, really, it did)
