Profile
Ex-Rescue team scout and party lover, Sonic Pegasus is one person who mixes love of life and cynicism in one person. Even though she's built for high-speed aerial scouting and searching, she's not one who feels compelled to do her duties quickly or seriously, that it is to get some beers from the liquor store or saving a comrade attached to a bomb. Sonic Pegasus is unable to take anything seriously, not even danger or learning that you're best friend just died, just laughing at those. Life's a joke and party to her. She joined the mavericks due to her xenophobic views on humans and other organic life in general. Usually sent as a scout in enemy outposts or just about anywhere her superiors needs general information.
Background
Sonic Pegasus was originally a scouting and searching reploid three years ago for various rescue missions. Her duties were to detect any sound that could come from a survivor, to inform the team of the location. She also worked as an aerial scout during those missions with her flight capabilities helping her finding people more quickly.
She was built for speed not to race or escape but being able to quickly find and reach the location of any survivors. She was always ready for duty, never complaining about orders though it was mostly because she saw it nearly as a game; some kind of hardcore hide and seek. Her inability to be serious and cynical nature during her work also caused her to be griped many times for playing with people's life. She was doing lots of jokes or pranks while giving her reports that were just making the rescue harder and longer.
The final mistake she made as a rescue scout was to delay rescue so much that the survivors during a landslide didn't survived after all. What delayed everything is the fact she made her latest reports with a list of everything she heard and all their location and telling the survivors' location as "the only placed in the area I didn't show". She was brought to court and accused of indirect murder due to her lack of professionalism and serious. She was then removed from her functions as a rescue scout. She, unfortunately, learnt nothing from that except thinking people are just too uptight and too serious about work, life and about everything making her even more cynical than she already were.
After her release, she ended up as a D.J. for minor raves and parties, pretty much working only by her own. Although her music fests, due to her very sensible additive system, were more appreciated by reploids and robotic beings due to the fact she played them using sonic frequencies and wave lengths that were harassing and potentially dangerous to most human or organic beings. Again, she was accused of being a danger to the people, only this time it was more exactly toward humans. Although no actions were taken against her, she was often fined by the authorities and seeing her music systems ceased. As many other cynical and egotistic beings, Sonic Pegasus started to hate organic beings as being a nuisance and not letting other robotic beings doing the most mundane things like doing parties and relaxing while listening to music. This was a ridiculous reason to hate humans, even for her, although she always did felt that way. Though, from her point of view, humans were still the nuisance. As mavericks share their need to have a Maverick utopia where they, reploids, are the law was rather logical and fitting her mind set. It didn't took long she entered in communication with the coalition and joined as what she was first built as; a scout and sonic annoyance.
Personality
Sonic Pegasus was originally programmed to be able to bear people dying without much fuss or emotions but the way she lived was different. Life seemed to be something that is not so important, that is so easily removed from someone. She is extremely cynical and is unable to stay serious during her work, always throwing a joke that doesn't sounds like a joke, mainly because, in her head, nobody should be taking things seriously. And she takes -nothing- seriously. So it's common to see her laugh at something rather emotional and/or serious like her best friend getting a knife in his eye or someone else's grand pa dying. She doesn't lack in social skills though, very friendly and very talkative to her fellow reploid and friends. She's always able to work with others when she needs to and is, actually, a person good at cheering others up. She's a party person, obviously, and always barge in people's party plans that they want her around or not. She's usually loved or hated by people (probably more the latter, see Facts And Random Stuff).
Even though she's a very quick and swift physically, she's more of the person to think then act most of the time. That doesn't mean she takes the most logical and safe decisions since she has a trouble seeing danger and risks in missions or tasks she takes. Her cynical nature is quite extreme, nearing the ridiculous at times.
The only thing she truly wants is to people to stop being so serious. Something that will never happen but she's like most old teenagers; young and overly idealistic. Sonic's very hard to totally convince to do something with utmost serious and none should expect her to make complete reports, usually mentioning nothing about the mission's goal, achieved or not. It's all a game to her after all so the best way to deal with this is make sure she finds the duty "thrilling" and "amusing" with well placed words.
