Profile
I never bite off more than I can chew.
Profile: Although only a junior member of STARS, there was one thing that agent Sakki always excelled at- and this happened to be doing everything but catching the villain they were always after. He was an expert at blocking exits, destroying drones, collapsing barricades and generally wrecking things that didn't involve actually fighting. Although the work he did was spectacularly low-risk, it always seemed to help catch criminals, and he began to rise in rank for doing relatively little, which suited him just fine. He began to achieve a massive kill-count of drones, and his ego grew as he was never in extremely life-threatening danger. He was presented the power armor Carpe Leos, which gave him the maximum ability to crush opposing drone forces. Shino spends a lot of his time chewing various things, and is never without a stick of gum or a twig in his mouth. He tries to look cool, but sometimes falls flat on his face.
Background
Masaru Sakki was born December 20th 2202, in the Osaka prefecture. This was during the initial months of the second Wily Riots. He grew up for the first four years of his life under the shadow of that period of war, but with the protection of the Light Robots over Japan, he had a sort of quiet early childhood. In the peace that followed, he became an eager absorber of info on the super robot fighting that had occured when he was too young to understand, fascinated by things in the way that only a boy with tonka toys would be. He read newspapers and collected shrapnel, and was all sorts of surprised by the fighting that had occured.
Even as the world grew more fraught with war, he sat at home, and just watched it. His parents were employees of Capcom in Osaka, and were affluent enough to have him homeschooled. They feared for what would happen to their son if they ever left Osaka, so they kept him at home for far more time than they should. He had few friends, but plenty of money to feed his interests, and he developed in an acceptable manner despite his fascination in the robot wars. He even acquired several of the toys that were produced over the years, as strange as the concept was.
By the age of 13, he was beginning to bore of his lifestyle. He was being allowed more freedom to go out a little more, but when the Nigh loomed over everyone's heads, his parents returned to what they did when the Stardroids were stomping around and kept him under house curfew. They spent more time at home, suffocating him with attention and affection. Masaru wondered if there was more to life than this.
In the winter of 2218, when Dr. Wily became emperor, his family were shocked. This was a jarring change to their life that they had never expected, as they had long been staunch opponents of Wily. Masaru, who by this point was a young man, announced that they had to leave the country. His parents were shocked- they had never expected the independance that their son was now showing. He began to organise his family's affairs, arranging for them to move to Disney Universe. However, he disappeared in the shuffle- Masaru was determined to escape his family. He joined the newly forming STARS.
Changing his name to Shino, he began to soar through training. Within one year he was already on the level of some STARS agents who had been there longer, and he began to form his own niche with his heroism and antics learned through years of gratuitous study of the robot wars. He became an agent of demolitions, drone disposal and counter-mechaniloid abilities, and after some time, in 2220, was given a power armor by Dr. Deo Darrius.
Shino has visited three alternate universes so far. The first was a visit to Peaceful Detroit, where robots had never been made, and the robot wars never occured. Although he was very eager to explore the city, General refused him, making Shino rather upset.
To remedy this, he spent as much time as he could in the world where fantasy replaced mainstream science- Oarth- and participated significantly in the final siege of Stonehenge. He used the Carpe Leos to thin the ranks of attacking orcs, destroyed the Master Monster equivalent of Pharoah Man, and stuck one of the final blows that drove off the Wily Warlock.
Shino also spent a lot of time relaxing in ACDC Town, the third alternate universe he visited. He bought a battlechip which he made into a necklace. On his third day visiting there, he was brought to Cyber City alongside Alloy, Riot and Zach Glen. After some misunderstanding involving Mayor Cain thinking the reploids were copyroids, Shino got involved when Mr. Higsby and Mr. Mach used their NetNavis NumberMan.EXE and BlastMan.EXE to hypnotise the students, while keeping them occupied with flame-shooting security drones. Shino found himself working with the Maverick Agile to defeat the drones, using the NetNavi of a boy named Mick to engage BlastMan alongside Vera. He used his chip, a ZapRing1, to paralyse BlastMan long enough to allow Vera to delete him. Shino achieved a busting rank of 8 and, somehow, 3000 Zenny for defeating BlastMan.
The next day, everything went crazy. Attending a meeting just before the portal closed, Shino joined Alloy, Zach, Grisha, Siren, Dr. Regal, Munitions Ifrit and Sara Steele at a punch and pie social at SciLab. He listened to a speech by Dr. Hikari which was interrupted by the attack of a horde of copyroid Navis, including GhostMan.EXE, SnowMan.EXE, BurgerK.EXE, E-Motion.EXE and MathMan.EXE. While the Net Saviors fought FlashMan, CircusMan and MagicMan, Shino took on GhostMan, single-handedly defeating him with the aid of a satchel charge. He fought alongside Grisha and FlowRonin to defeat SnowMan.
However, while the fight raged on in the labs below, the upper levels of the building were flooded with sleeping gas, allowing the alternate Dr. Regal to steal the last piece of the TriData. Using this, he unlocked the barriers between the real world and the internet, causing both of them to fuse in a massive dimensional area. Transforming into LaserMan, Regal forced through the dimensional rift and into Neo Tokyo, using the power of the Kokoro Net to tap into the darkness within the souls of everyone in both worlds. Shino took the Carpe Leos and returned to his world to fight Regal. Alongside Zach and Lan Hikari as MegaMan, with support from Grisha, Sara and Munitions, he crippled and defeated LaserMan, allowing Lord Wily to subdue him and deactivate the dimensional area. Following this, Shino Sakki passed out from exertion and was unconcious for several nights.
Shino became heavily involved in the efforts to oust Dr. Weil from Europe. He investigated a strange hospital with the assistance of the Hunters, uncovering several strange bodies that had been severely mutated. He joined up with the french resistance, and cut a path across Europe to Weil's Area A base. However, in a severe fight with the Judges, he was severely injured by a double-team attack by Tretista Kelverian and Kyuubit Foxtaur.
The shock of the severe injury, although mitigated by Cinnamon, blunted Shino's ego a little. He resolved to be more cautious in the future, and assisted in the liberation of Berlin by harassing opponents and disabling Glacier Cactank. Later, he joined the Resistance, which had become an official group in the wake of its creation.

- Shino is an eSfJ according to Myers-Briggs personality tests, or Provider Guardian. He craves social interaction but often finds himself out of his depth when he actually gets into it.
- He is a fan of Ataru Watanabe, the main character of Combattler XX.
- He designs Rube Goldberg machines in his spare time, although mostly on paper.
- His favourite flavour of gum is strawberry.
- He has reasonably strong connections to Capcom and Disney Universe and often gets free things and invited to events. He likes Haunted Mansion Holiday.
