Shaun Gilmour doesn't talk about his past very often. What is known about him is that he grew up in a rough neighborhood in Dublin and learned the fine arts of thievery from both trial and error and immense inherent talent. As he grew up, he had brushes with the law that only refined his skills. During the peak of his career, he executed some of the most daring and dangerous heists in the modern era. During his last major gig, he encountered Yosho Roshi and his son and fought them in hand-to-hand combat. While only barely able to overcome both of them, this natural talent for combat led him to be recruited into the Strider organization. Shaun sided with the Blue Dragons to stay with Kain. After the deaths of both Kain and Matic, Shaun Gilmour apparently had a final showdown with Tetsuo Sakizaki, whose physical disfigurement he was partially responsible for because of a botched mission. Shaun had not been seen since, while Tetsuo has since resurfaced. Shaun's present whereabouts and status are unknown.
