Profile

One of the twisted creations of Dr. Wily's 'son', Scott Wily, Shark Man is bipolar by nature. Usually a sloth, this particular Master is far more interested in laying around and doing absolutely nothing than actually being helpful. Especially if that nothing involves the sandy beaches as well. Often seen wearing his bright, Hawaiian print bathing suit (Despite not needing it), his ideal day is one that involves plenty of Pina Coladas and a bonfire by the ocean. So deeply has he entrenched himself in this beach bum mentality that he actually speaks an ancient, unintelligible jargon used by surfers centuries ago. Quite harmless, up till the moment he catches a whiff of blood. All it takes is the mere thought of a fight, and something in the lazy Overlord snaps, sending him into what could only be described as a feeding frenzy. A mindless killer. Despite the fact his primary weapon is the Shark Boomerang, Shark Man tends to get up close and very personal, charging straight into a mess without a second thought. Which will quite often land him in trouble, out of range of help.

Background

Shark Man is not a standard Robot Master in the respect that this section can be covered with 'Shark Man was built by Dr. Wily' and the simple answer for this is that Shark Man was, in fact, not build by Dr. Wily. Shark Man was constructed as one of Scott Wily's first Robot Overlords using his father's 'rejected' plans, taking part in the initial assault on the Robot Masters and was subsequently exiled and forced under the care of Constance Wily with his brothers.

Shark Man lived under Constance with relative ease. He didn't care as much about destruction and mayhem as his brothers and was quite content to sit around, drink mai tais and surf in his free time. Constance, insistent that Wily should take better care of his son, had other ideas. Thinking that she did not have enough room at her house for all the Robot Overlords she convinced Dr. Wily to 'adopt' one of Scott's creations and integrate them into the Robot Masters to express more of an interest in Scott's activities. Shark Man lived with the Robot Masters for a while and many took to his carefree attitude and unoffending personality (as well as his ability to mix drinks) and decided to vote him in over his brothers. As a result Shark Man was adopted into the faction and reprogrammed with WilyCode as opposed to the inferior ScottCode.

Since then Sharky has pretty much allowed events to pass him by. He has been encountered a couple of times by his G.E.R.C brothers who were freed from the ScottCode by various devices but Shark Man isn't really interested. Why would he be? Working for Dr. Wily is the best job ever!
