Character Data

"The key to victory is a well thought out strategy."

Profile

William Wiggin is one of the world's great strategic minds. Seeing the world as nothing more than an intricate game, William pursues his goals with single-minded, unyielding determination. William continually seeks out greater challenges to defeat in the quest to become the most powerful man in the world -- economically, mentally and physically. He has risen through the ranks of the corporate world much as he rose through the ranks of the Red Dragon Striders; slowly and steadily, making sure to adhere to his master plans along the way. However, after the final battle with Grandmaster Meio, William Wiggin has sought a new objective. As there is no Grandmaster of the Striders, he seeks to train himself to become that new Grandmaster, and in doing so ultimately complete Meio's dream of changing the world. William has withdrawn from the world to pursue this goal, and his present whereabouts are unknown. His insistance on sticking to a grander strategy reflects both on his mental discipline and his arrogance. When things don't work as he has expected them to, William's anger is as pitiless, icy and unyielding as he is.

Background

William Wiggin is presently the visible leader of the Order of the Serpent. His lieutenant, Rufus, considers William to be his father. Whether or not Rufus actually /is/ Wiggin's son is unknown.

William was involved in the Dagobert affair. His men stole the sword from Captain Beard. He was going to use the sword to get Meio's research back from someone, indicating that Meio was involved in the organization at some point. However, Nebula stole the sword before William could sell it.

Later, William was confronted by Blues and questioned about his involvement in the conspiracy. William had apparently worked for Black SHIELD before but was unfamiliar or had a distaste for Nebula. He sought documents that Blues had stolen during an exchange that dealt with the geneology of seemingly random families around the world. William was confronted by Linnea and Blues in combat, and was seemingly defeated. His present status is unknown.
