Who?
Masquerade is the eleventh Reploid created by Dr. Doppler and was made to replicate human emotions at an advanced level. He was donated to a theatre when the Doctor's research was seized but left after a few years of hostile treatment from his fellow human actors. From there records get fuzzy; he enlisted in the Repliforce, the Yakuza, the Maverick Hunters and spent a long time (about ten years) living off stolen identities and trying his hand at various lifestyles. Presently he works as a Mercenary Spy.
What?
Masquerade was at first a civilian grade Reploid although has underdone various refits since that time and, with training, is now a combat level Reploid. He has been instructed in many martial art styles and the use of a surprising number of hand held weapons which he uses in combat. Masquerade has a penchant for stealth and disguise which he uses as an infiltrator to retrieve information when necessary.
Where?
Masquerade can usually be found aboard the Strider Air Fortress as he is a member of the Dragon Half Striders though owns one or two properties that he frequents as well.
When?
Masquerade entered 'the game' after hearing various words on the street and contacting the individual that these rumors usually spoke of: Prismatic Spider. Since then he has been an off-and-on member of Gospel who usually communicates with the other members through nonphysical means only.
Why?
Masquerade works against Nebula for curiosities sake. He has lived a long life and experienced much of what it has to offer but, for him, the conspiracy represents the unattainable. He is in the project for the mystery and intrigue and helping people in the process is just a happy coincidence.
Now
Masquerade works mostly in the intelligence division, gathering information when he is asked to and usually only reporting back to the person that requested the information. He frequently shys away from the radio and meeting other members unless asked because his bravado is usually interpreted (correctly or not) as him being arrogant.
