Profile
Rodney Ruddock, a young Jamaican raised from birth in the Rastafari tradition, is a firm believer in the Rastafari religion. He is sure that the perfection of Zion can be reached on Earth, but only if all the old corrupt ways - or, as he calls it, Babylon - can be extinguished. More fervent in his desire to change the world than many others, he easily fell in with the Irregular movement, especially as he was a skilled reggae musician. To achieve his goals, Rodney's learned piloting and radio skills - the better to fight and learn the plans of the corrupt, right-wing slaves of Babylon.
Background
Rodney Ruddock was born into a close-knit Jamaican family. He went to school, studied political science at Garvey University in Jamaica, earning his Master's, and practiced the Rastafari religion. At the age of twenty-two, he left Jamaica to explore the world and learn more of Babylon.
He wasn't happy with what he learned of it. The more he saw, the more disgusted he became. In a variety of odd jobs, he learned piloting skills and radio skills, and has become rather good at both. He joined the Irregulars shortly after Epsilon resurfaced, as their cause was, at the core, the same as the Rastafari religion's: tear down the old, build up paradise in its place.
Trivia/Facts
- Rodney has perhaps the largest family of any PC on the game, none of whom have appeared on camera for any length of time.
- Rodney is religiously opposed to becoming a cyborg, and has made the decision not to follow Epsilon based in large part on this conviction.
- Rodney is surprisingly good with machines. He's no scientist by any means, and certainly no inventor, but he is rumored to be spiritually descended from Angus Macgyver.

- Rodney Ruddock cannot hack. He has no idea how to do so and little desire to learn.
