Summary

N1 is a sprawling conglomeration of Internet, television and radio properties under the same brand. It has effective coverage all across Brazil and is gradually spreading both north and south. N1 will blanket all of South America by mid-2220 and is deepening its influence in Central America and Mexico. It is available worldwide on satellite, which is an increasingly popular option for Spanish-speaking people around the world.

N1 is dedicated to more streamlined, efficient news more relevant to its target audiences. It still has some of that revolutionary ANN flavor which appeals to the people; many consider GNN to be "the man", in the pocket of large megacorps and the Repliforce, while N1 appeals more to the street. Most of the Pantheon bias has been beaten out, primarily due to the Pantheon becoming more obviously corrupt to the common man. It also provides a wide variety of entertainment programming, such as the usual telenovelas and very deep football coverage (the keystone of the entire N1 strategy).

N1 is owned by Phoenix Communications, a large company that consists of numerous television, Internet, radio and assorted media outlets. It is most commonly associated today with Nuevo One (N1), which has become its flagship property. Phoenix Communications also has money in various newspapers across South America, as well as billboards, ad placards on mass transit lines, and a publishing house that Sumiyama is using to print his self-aggrandizing autobiography.
