Player Firing
Playing on M3 is a privilege, not a right. However, the administration makes a dedicated effort to resolve problems without firing players from characters. We dislike disciplinary actions, but at times they are necessary. In extreme cases, a player may be fired from their character, or "pfired".
The most common way of being fired is to fail to make required times on an FC. Being fired for not making times is not a major offense, but we do keep failure to make times in mind when examining applications for FCs.
If a player is repeatedly griped, the administration will make an honest effort to speak with the player to hear their side of the story. All gripes are not created equal, and sometimes a person may get +griped when a +coach or talking to the person in the scene would have been more appropriate. If the infractions are serious enough, the player may be fired from the character or character(s) involved.
Refer to +help +gripe for more information about gripes, and +help +coach for more information about coaching.
Three ways to get instantly fired:
- If you abuse a loophole or code bug, you will be fired.
- If you engage in TS (read news ts) and get caught, you will be fired.
- If you ask for your original characters to be nuked on a channel or in a public place to an admin, or if you say you want the passwords changed on your FCs, we will nuke and repassword them immediately. No exceptions.
In general: don't be a jerk and you'll be fine.
