This is a list of character concepts that have become overdone on this MUSH, organized into two "rarity" levels. The list of currently banned concepts is at the bottom.

Discouraged

Discouraged Attacks

  • Area attacks over level 5.
  • Generic "sword" primary attacks.
  • Generic laser/plasma cannon-style primary attacks.
  • Stun attacks over level 2.
  • Primaries with type Misc.

Discouraged Character Traits

  • Characters who are a long lost relative/sister/mother/child/uncle/etc of an FC. This is OK with some OCs, as long as you organize/work together.
  • Characters with multiple personalities.
  • Reploids/androids with human names.
  • Humanoid Maverick Reploids.
  • Characters that get their energy from cannibalizing/eating other characters, especially vampirically.
  • Characters who have Robotics for the sole purpose of building other player characters.

Discouraged Stats

  • 9s and 10s. In anything. They are approvable but will be extremely rare. Otherwise, they aren't special.


Heavily Discouraged

Overall

  • Characters who contain "experimental designs," "prototype armor," "untested powers," etc.
  • Non-combat characters with high combat stats.
  • Reploids/androids built to look "exactly human" such that they pass for human with detection.
  • Reploids/androids built to look like angels.
  • Characters with large numbers of drones who have coded attacks on their behalf.
  • Characters who are ICly "inspired by anime", such that the creator of the Reploid/Android/what have you wanted him/her to be as much like an anime character from a series or genre that he/she (i.e. you) like.

Currently Banned

Overall

  • Characters with fewer than five secondary attacks.
  • Characters with more than 49 secondary attacks.
  • OCs with military names, such as 'General' or 'Colonel.'
  • Drones or incomplete robots.
  • "Support Units" designs as pets for other PCs.
