Nigh

It is not entirely understood what the Nigh is. It has been referred to at times as The Nothing, The Darkness, or simply It.

The Nigh exists out of conventional time and space. It appears to be an active force of entropy that is attracted to large sources of power. It can travel vast distances in a short period of time, though the exact chain of events that can summon it is unclear. It has a form of consciousness, though one would hesitate to call it intelligent in the way we understand it.

Duo was once said to be an active force of opposition to the Nigh, though the circumstances of this opposition and its origin is now lost to all but the Book of Luna.

The Nigh has visited Earth before, attracted by the dying Stardroids. It desired their energy, and was driven away by receiving a large enough dose to briefly sate its appetite.
