Profile

Midi's lengthy trials have put him on a grand adventure, and made him challenge his previous beliefs about good and evil. Midi began his life as one part of a binary Reploid system created by the Professor, which failed. Midi, having most of the "good" attributes of the binary system's personality, ended up striving to remain in the esteem of the powers that be. Midi worked for the United Nations, then Interpol, and ultimately Repliforce in an effort to fight evil hackers and do the right thing. Midi earned a strong reputation for his good deeds and hacking prowess online as the avatar of MegaMan.EXE. However, Midi began to feel a sense of emptiness in his life, and took leave from Repliforce to try to address it. In reality, Midi was being called back to the Professor through a homing circuit so that the original project could be completed. Despite a brief rescue, Midi ultimately returned to the Professor when he felt that Repliforce had betrayed him by taking advantage of his trusting nature. Cheerful and diligent, Midi remains a model citizen insofar as service to Ouroboros can be considered pro-social. Midi has been led to believe that he is doing the right thing for the world and himself by helping his "family". While Midi and Techno continue to quibble like brothers do, they both work together now to help the Professor conquer the world.

Background

Midi was created along with his brother Techno by the United Nations. Originally, he was meant to be part of a whole -- that is, one mind shared by two bodies. However, the scientists who worked with them didn't expect that the two reploids would split apart mentally and gain their own unique personalities.

While Techno grew malicious and angry, Midi seemed to turn out the opposite. He had a strong sense of justice, kindness, and wanted only to help people and to make them smile. As a brilliant hacker, he served in the United Nations and Interpol as a system operator, maintaining the servers and guarding it from viruses and any other threats. When Interpol started to dissolve under the weight of its own scandal, Midi transferred to SciTech, where his skills were well-used. Over time, he was eventually transferred to the Repliforce, where he serves to this day as a part of their intel team.

Trivia/Facts

• Midi and Techno are seperate reploids, but they still share a link. If one feels pain, so does the other. If one dies, so does the other. As one expects, this results in some very complicated things.

• Midi is a very avid chip collector. He's not as much as Higsby, though.

• Midi is three feet tall.

• Midi's drink of choice is chocolate milk. Or e-tanks.

• Midi is a practicing 'awww, isn't he so cute'ist.

• Midi's favorite music genre is techno.

• CORNSHOT -- CORN PARTY -- CORN FIESTAAAAAAA

• MegaMan.EXE is able to absorb the 'soul' data of other Navis and incorporate them into himself. It may come from either vanquished enemies, or just by training hard with his friends.

• MegaMan.EXE has fought Nebula Gray three times. Each time has ended in pain.

• MegaMan.EXE wears frilly pink aprons.

Other

Midi is rarely seen in 'real life'. He is a very reclusive person. In fact, he's much better known as his avatar, MegaMan.EXE, who was designed to take after his hero; you could kind of say that he's a pretty big fanboy of Rock. The difference between his virtual self and his real self sometimes becomes very blurry, as he's connected about 24/7 to the internet via a direct link in his mind. If he is hurt in Cyberspace, he feels mental pain. If he's deleted, he momentarily blanks out. Bass.EXE is his nemesis; unsurprisingly, the Navi happens to be controlled by his brother, Techno, now a part of the Robot Masters. Midi still seems to have a soft spot for him, even if he makes him cry sometimes. It is rumored that Midi and his avatar are involved in Gospel. Whether this is true or not he hasn't mentioned; but he does seem to trail along with the core group and help them out. He is seen often with Nana and her friends to lend a hand.

Midi is a skilled programmer. Aside from MegaMan he has a few support programs designed after their real-world counterparts -- Rush.EXE, a search and attack program; Beat.EXE, an email delivery and sometimes combat support; and Tango.EXE, a data-restoration program. This goes hand-in-hand with his philosophy: That friendship is one of the most important and pure powers in the universe.
