Profile
'Lucky' Larry Barnes was once a fine Yakuza operative. Larry was widely known within the Yakuza for his incredible "luck" in gambling, which was in reality the result of extensive, skillful cheating. Larry had never been caught; he cleaned up his trails with meticulous care and took considerable pains to maintain a low profile. When Dr. Psyche made Ego, his first Psychebot, Larry took it upon himself to befriend the android as quickly as possible to show him the ropes. Larry thought having a death-dealing android as a friend could be quite the exploitable resource! He was very much mistaken. Ego seemed to suck up all of Larry's luck. Ego "accidentally" unveiled 'Lucky' Larry was a cheater; "accidentally" killed his entire family at a birthday party when Ego gave him the wrong box of items; "accidentally" got him charged with murder when Ego, once again, gave him a wrong box with a dead stripper in it; and "accidentally" got him charged as the sole robber in a crime. This last "accident" was the result of Ego "accidentally" leaving Larry's birth certificate, UN ID card, and fingerprint samples at the scene of the crime. A shell of a man, Larry rues every day of his existence, but somehow manages to be kept alive by his good "friend", Ego.
