Higure Higsby has been screwed by the man for the last time. He started his career as a highly advanced white collar criminal, trading in pirated software and stolen identities. Through skill and creativity, Higsby became among the most powerful hackers in history ... until his luck ran out. The legendary 'Mr. Higsby' was captured in a sting and jailed, and threatened with multiple life sentences for the sheer magnitude of theft he had perpetrated. Coerced by Interpol into service, Higsby grudgingly acted as a 'white hat' to keep from being sealed away in a maximum security prison. His all-too-brief release from Interpol after the collapse of the Houseman government found him in indentured servitude to Shuseki Ijuin and SciTech. The chains he continued to find himself in left him bloody and raw. Finally, Higsby found an unexpected benefactor who freed Higsby from the last of his obligations and put him out of the reach of the law. Drunk on his new-found freedom, Mr. Higsby has returned to his old ways, tearing through the Internet and dealing out Old Testament justice to those who had mocked him. Meanwhile, Higsby in "real life" remains a shy introvert who has trouble making friends and is hopeless around beautiful women. Troublingly, Higsby's shyness is now tinged with seething resentment of the world he feels mistreated him for years. His true loyalties remain a mystery, but there is one thing that is now abundantly obvious: Higure Higsby will not be taken alive ever again.
