Profile
Gemini Man is an android best known for his skills with his solid holographic projector, which he uses to create a "twin" of himself as well as disguises and weaponry. His primary weapon is the the Gemini Laser, a cannon that fires either plasma bursts, or a concentrated beam of ions that richocets off the molecules of solid surfaces. Gemini was designed to be Dr. Wily's personal terrorist, with a great understanding of what drives humans and causes them to fear. He has been previously involved in many large-scale terror projects including the bombing of San Angeles, which he did to weaken the city-state for Wily's conquering and to cause terror among the masses. During recent upheaval in the Robot Masters he was excised from the organization, and served the Nebula Syndicate. Upon Dr. Wily's return, he was brought back to the Masters, but doesn't bother hiding his split loyalties. As he is egotistical about his skills at terror tactics, he believes he can get away with working as a literal double agent for a good deal longer. As a Nebula operative he has another name - Dragonfly. Despite membership in Gamma squadron in the Masters he frequently thinks of himself as above his brothers and the rank structure at large, though he feels kinship toward the more intelligent members of the Master army.
Background
Being a Robot Master, Gemini Man's actual background is relatively incomplex. His official build date is June 2, 2201, when he was activated by Dr. Wily as a member of the Gamma Robot Master squadron.
IC History
Gemini Man mysteriously did not do much of note until January of 2215, where, in an all-out melee among allies and enemies, he was awarded the Stardroid Pendant of Mars and a shard of Stardroid power. Though he does not have much memory of his actions while under the influence of the Stardroid artifact, he has acted with greater ambition, hungry after that small taste of power.
Gemini Man was programmed with advanced computer skills not by Dr. Wily, but by Tron Bonne, as she agreed she "owed him" for defeating him in direct combat when they were both under the influence of the Pendants.
In March 2217, he was instrumental in the destruction of the original Light Labs. It was more of an artifact at that time, however, than the official Hunter base, as Hunter operations had already moved to the Ft. Sam Houston. Gemini Man's role in the attack was to drop the defenses allowing other Robot Masters to enter; he then battled and near-fatally injured Hunter Michael Eildath. The destruction in the basement which caused the actual labs eventually collapse was due to charges placed there by Bomb Man, while destruction to the exterior was done by Bass, executing a Bustered attack called the Perfect Storm.
Gemini was inflicted with the Sigma Virus once, around Christmas of 2217. Primarily, it caused him to wander off, though several humans were killed in an outbreak centered on him when he ended up in a robot clinic in Torontreal.
On January 1 of 2219, he succeeded in detonating a bomb fueled by Force Metal in the heart of San Angeles University, killing millions and turning the once-impenetrable and peaceful city in to a riot district.
His Wilycode was removed in 2220 by the Nebula Syndicate. He has most likely been recoded with loyalty to that organization, though he couldn't tell you for certain if he had. Unlike other Robot Masters who were tricked in to joining Ouroboros, he has never followed the Professor. He was reinstated to the Masters on Wily's return. His current code status and ultimate loyalty is actually uncertain.

Early on Gemini Man was a destructive Robot Master, typically notable for causing just as many problems within his own organization as he did without. There are some officially unsolved murders in the States that have been unofficially attributed to his youthful dalliances with women, or otherwise blowing off steam, though generally it is an ordinary Robot Master rap sheet filled with reports of destruction of property and general mayhem. One odd point to note is that Gemini usually keeps at least one, sometimes two, secondary hideouts outside of the main Robot Master base that he considers home. It's possible he's been programmed to always have a fallback location, or experience has just taught him that living on the Robot Master base is a losing proposition since they're frequently raided.
In early 2215, Gemini was the recipient of the Stardroid Pendant of Mars, which, as an outside influence, caused him to go on a murderous streak during which he had to be put down several times by outside parties. His largest-scale destruction during that time period was burning down a village on an island south of Greece. He received significant media attention during this period and at one point was the number one wanted criminal in the world, supplanting his own creator. Many of his later acts are theorized to be attempts to get back in to this spotlight. Gemini has been demonstrated to love attention, particularly from the media, and attention from the public in the form of fear. (CIA theorizes that this is merely to replace the attention his father is unable to give him, having so many other Masters to compete with.)
Mid-2215 was the Robot Master conquest of Africa. During this time Gemini was the leader of Gamma squadron, and Gamma squadron set up its base in the northern part of Africa along the ports, taking over Casablanca as their capitol. Gamma Squadron by all reports ran a very tight ship, using their drone squadrons to spy on the civilians throughout their areas. Shadow Man and Snake Man were frequently, reportedly, dispatched to silently vanish anyone who attempted to defy Wily's will. Gemini Man was instrumental in training several squadrons of soldiers and guerrilla troops in the North Africa area, and it's these troops that became loyal to Wily's cause even while his reign over Africa was collapsing. Spies infiltrating this group (including Sasha from the Hunters) were able to retrieve several training manuals that Gemini apparently penned himself. These in many respects resemble training manuals used to train Muslim extremists over a hundred years ago, though replacing any reference to Allah with Wily himself and scrubbing it in to less of a religious tract overall. The manuals detail many methods of assassination, kidnapping, torture, poisoning, and creation of explosives and give some insight in to the things that Gemini himself may be trained to do. Though many Robot Masters are more specialized in areas such as bioweapons or demolitions, Gemini is apparently more of a jack-of-all-trades where it comes to terror-related subjects, not specialized in a particular weapon type of category. He appears to know surprisingly little about standard firearms, as he's never had the need, and sections about these weapons in his writing are copied from more well-known manuals.
Serwa Mwokozi (Sera) was apparently among the people trained as an assassin in this fashion though it's unclear if it was by Gemini Man personally. She seemed to have had more contact with Shadow Man prior to her introduction to the Yakuza.
Gemini Man himself lived in a penthouse apartment atop a casino in Casablanca; the casino itself was owned and run by Crash Man. Gemini Man made no particular effort to hide his debauchery during this time and there are scattered reports of various women being invited up into his room never to be seen again. Mai Atsuki was also among them though she, obviously is still alive.
In March 2216 Gemini Man infiltrated Light Labs Tokyo and lowered its defenses, allowing Masters to infiltrate. Media reports of this event were scattered, initially blaming Bass for the destruction, which naturally caused Gemini to go on a mad tear of complaining since he had wanted the credit to go to himself in attempt to recapture his glory of two years prior. Since blowing up the lab was something he had done merely for attention, it backfired on him in that sense.
Making the best of things, Gemini started a front foundation supposedly to build a memorial in that spot, which was quickly exposed as fraudulent when he purchased the land Light Labs had been sitting on and it was used to construct the foundation for Skull Monument, the new Robot Master base. That base served as a launching pad for Wily's conquest of Japan. Gemini himself moved in to a palace-like building outside of Okinawa to run the prefecture given to Gamma Squadron.
Reports of his activities during this time are somewhat different from his usual pattern; he was generally mellow and non-violent. He made a few appearances in public schools in Japan, where he met and contacted children and was apparently well-received. Fan-made doujinshi, much of it not really suitable for children, of him was frequently drawn by young women who became his fans during this period. He was still living with Mai Atsuki for this entire period, with occasional visits and contacts with other Strider members or low-ranking Yakuza.
During the end of 2217 he contracted the Sigma Virus during a small outbreak. He apparently passed it on to several reploids but was retrieved by the Robot Masters and corrected the following month without larger incident.
Gemini's Japan home was burned down in June of 2218 by Maverick Hunter Durandal. Following this Gemini moved to an unknown location. He was believed to still be involved and living with Mai Atsuki at this time.
After Wily was ousted from Japan, Gemini began planning revenge for this, publically claiming responsibility for several bombings in previous years, including a Sigma-virus-laced bomb that went off in the Hong Kong stock exchange. He threatened a disaster of large scale proportions if both Africa and Japan were not returned to Dr. Wily. Naturally, the world did not give in, though investigations in to his plans were launched.
The Force Metal Bomb was detonated on New Years of 2219. Gemini also had a falling-out with Mai over this decision; they were no longer seen together for over a year following this.
A group in Australia retaliated for the bombing by kidnapping Constance Wily from her Disney Universe-sponsored home. This eventually lead somehow in to Gemini getting tied up with the conspiracy group known as Nebula. To retaliate for Constance's kidnapping, Gemini assassinated a high-ranking member of the group, Harold Magrevich, after a relationship with his grand-daughter, Teresa. Gemini used the false ID of Brandon Archer during this time (his having the same last name as Charlie Archer is a coincidence and nothing more, he may have done inadequate research before his initial infiltration). There may have been a second person that used this ID, but this is not clear (Wasp?). The cover ID was officially killed when it became compromised.
The CIA already knows that Gemini Man is also Dragonfly, a robot affiliated with Nebula directly. Perhaps assassinating a member was some kind of initiation rite, or at least a test set up to him by the organization. The truth of his dual identity has been reported to Repliforce, as it was apparently discovered by Storm Owl, but Gemini may be trying to keep this a secret from the Robot Masters themselves so that he can continue to operate as a double agent. Dragonfly is a more physically capable robot than Gemini Man ever was. He is also better at disguises than previous, though Gemini was formidable at this to begin with.
Investigators have reason to believe that Gemini Man was involved in Australian political maneuvering, and had manipulated the country in to some of its current policies on reploids via creating the Blake Foundation as a false front. The group has also done some good, however, so they're hesitant to drop the hammer for certain or act on this information. In addition to potential allies in Australia via this group, Gemini has some allies in Japan and plenty in Africa. The troops he formerly trained are more loyal to him than they may actually be to Wily, and Gemini Man has been recently caught funneling money to African groups under the guise of rebuilding post-Ragnarok infrastructure. Recently, Web Spider caught several of these terrorists, and Gemini Man, in the act in the city of Tangier.
The CIA also has reason to believe that Maximillian Rothschilde, Teresa Magrevich's husband, is Dragonfly or Gemini's current civilian identity. However, the paper trail for Maximillian's existence and history is so impeccably faked that there's zero evidence for any deception. Shield Shellfish, and a man claiming to be Maximillian, were taken from Gemini Man's custody in Tangier. There is evidence that Gemini, or someone affiliated with him or Nebula, was attempting to build or clone a second Shield Shellfish. The reason for doing this is unclear, probably an elaborate scheme of some kind? The recovered Maximillian checked out medically as human and matched all records... and returned home with Teresa after a brief hospital stay. Shield Shellfish had lost a lot of memories of this incident.
Based on his former pattern while he was living in Japan, intel analysts say that, despite of, or even because of, Gemini's current power within Nebula, it is unlikely that Gemini will create a massive disaster along the lines of San Angeles any time soon. If he feels as if he's been topped by Protoman's bombing earlier this year, there's no sign of that. He may be waiting for the world to rebuild before he chooses something to destroy, but it's more likely that he is simply content at the current time.
This puts law enforcement in a delicate position. They have very little concrete evidence of his current crimes, and, if they were to act to remove him from his current life and livelihood, there's a good chance he will lash out in the process and cause damage and/or take innocent lives. This makes it safer to leave him alone, and monitor him for signs that he may decide to take action. On the other hand, nobody wants Gemini to be rewarded for his bad behavior.
Trivia/Facts
In addition to occasional large-scale destructive acts, Gemini Man may also be well-known for his very complete and hands-on investigations in to the Striders and the early days of Neo Arcadia.
Gemini Man was responsible for breaking the first truce between Neo Arcadia and Repliforce by tricking one camp into thinking the other was attacking it, and vice versa.
Gemini is known for using a series of penguins as his primary drone force. He is not fond of Mets. The penguins have varying skills, but most shoot energy waves or plasma. Gemini also employs a variety of insects including a variety of giant dragonfly drone, the Yambo, from which he takes his current undercover name.
