Profile
After watching the Hunter Fliptop at work, Dr. Wily decided it might be time to start getting into expanding his studies into subspace. As part of these experiments, he concocted Gate Man, a full-size Robot Master with the power to create large-size subspace portals. Gate Man can open a door in his body and store almost anything, even things bigger than himself. The only problem with his methods is that Dr. Wily's subspace gate just happened to open in a very active and volitile part of the subspace grid... and items stored in Gate Man may end up disappearing or transmogrifying slightly if left in too long. For this reason, Wily has ordered other Masters not to travel via Gate Man, though drones often take this dangerous ride. Gate Man's powers seem to put a face on the "Eldritch Horrors" of the subspace plane, since when he opens up his gate he can launch attacks made out of the mutable fabric of advanced space-time itself. Gate Man considers his abilities a great responsibility, and can be incredibly vain about them. However, he isn't uptight, being generally personable and enjoying challenges that test his abilities. He sometimes stores toys or other innocuous items in his personal gate to later reconfigure as weapons, since he is entertained by unorthodox measures.

Trivia/Facts
- Gate Man has developed some kleptomaniacal tendencies in the name of science. He is always looking for things to steal in order to test the effects of subspace on them.
- Gate Man and Dust Man are co-authoring a research paper outlining their discovery that ham is inert in subspace.
- Gate Man is working on a paper concerning the klein bottle effect he demonstrates by being in the Wily Drome which is in sector X which is where Gate Man's gate leads to, meaning going into Gate Man puts you outside of him. For some reason, the universe has not yet imploded, and that will be a key part of the paper when it is published.
- Gate Man determined that diamonds are not forever in subspace.
