Profile
"I am the candle whose light pierces the darkness."
DRN 007. Fire Man has been through a lot in his life. He was one of the first to start the Robot Wars. He has sown destruction and chaos wherever he's walked, bringing flames of annihilation and wrath wherever he's gone. He was also the first of the Alphas to lay hands upon Wily with intent to kill. After an entire life of hate, Fire Man has finally realized what he was built for, who he was built by, and what he has done. Things have changed for Fire Man; he was once arrogant and spiteful, fighting with sheer rage powering him and a wanton carelessness of who got in the way when he decided to go out killing. The realization of his original programming, the recognization of what Dr. Light wanted for him, and the affirmation of Dr. Wily's perversion of his programming has turned him into something different. Arrogance has been replaced by thoughtfulness. Pride has been replaced by empathy. And wrath has been replaced by righteous fury. Upon his freedom of the Wily Code, Fire Man came to a recognization; he is never going to be the peaceful waste management machine he was built to be. However, he made an oath that he would never fight for greed again; he now instead fights for everlasting peace, in the footsteps of the brother he never knew, Rock.
Background
Fire Man was one of the very first androids ever made. His story is well-documented in theme and probably bears no further repeating on this page.
Trivia/Facts
- Fire was the first to lay hands upon Wily when the Wilycode was broken. He choked him, then threw him to the other Alphas. His voice changed, as well.
- Fire Man was primarily driven by anger before. Now, he's driven by a desire to fix the problems he's caused.
- Fire Man cried for the first time in his life after Wily died. Not for Light or Wily, but because Michael Eildath pummeled him as hard as he could. He cried because he knew the whole world would react as Michael did, and honestly felt bad for what he's done.
- Fire Man also approached Michael the day after. He asked who Mike's father was, as he screamed about him when he attacked the Alpha. He asked him primarily to show that he was sorry about what he's done, but also because he knew that if a human would nearly break his hands against a machine for what they've done, then Mike's story must have been horrifying. He wanted this story to remain with him, so that he could never forget what happened. It's definitely stayed with him.
Other
Fire Man owns Blues' Scarf. He wears it just as Blues did, because he knows why it was given to him, what it stands for, and what it means to wear it.
You are not allowed to take the scarf.
