Emulation Technology

Emulation technology is a revolutionary innovation which allows its holder to translate copied DNA Soul data into a physical form and therefore allow the holder to take the form of whoever the DNA was copied from. It will give the Emulation user all the same combat abilities as the copied person, all the same attack capabilities, and the same physical abilities (abilities, attacks, and stats).
Due to its complexity and sophistication, it was originally only created for (and thus was only compatible with) Axl's systems.
Lumine eventually managed to replicate Axl's emulation drive, but it was defective since it didn't work properly. Later on, the defects in Lumine's emulation system were repaired and it now holds the second fully functional emulation drive in existance.
Later in 2221 while recovering from a very nearly fatal attempt on his life, Doctor Wily built Dark Man. During construction, Doctor Wily created the third fully functional Emulation Drive in history. But being Doctor Wily, this Emulation Drive had a noteable difference from the versions Axl and Lumine use. While Axl and Lumine stun and life drain energy from their opponents during the proccess of obtaning an emulation form, Dark Man's emulation drive weakens his opponent's combat capability for a few seconds and drains their weapon energy.
Emulation technology is incredibly difficult to replicate if not impossible and so far Axl, Lumine, and Dark Man are the only robots physically capable of using it.*
