Feel this chassis; it feels like happiness.
With a rather low-key demeanor and a habit of speaking softly, one wouldn't peg Electro as a radical revolutionary at first glance. Starting life as a worker for a prominent Brazilian electronics and reploid parts company, he became interested in artificial neurological senses and was an adept technician. But he soon became involved in protests against the unfair policies of the company towards reploids, and after a grueling struggle, limited changes were made. Disillusioned by what he saw as ineffective peaceful protest, he joined the Mavericks with the hope of a new world order. Still serving as a general technician for the Coalition, Electro displays rather odd mannerisms, particularly his obsession with seeking pleasure via sensory stimulation. His love of tinkering leads him to make his own inventions, which usually break down or blow up after activation. He has the ability to generate many electrical attacks, as well as climb over almost any surface, making him a formidable fighter. Some wonder if he isnt off in his own little world as he sits silently amid others and observes things quietly.
Background
As a technician for a prominent Brazilian electronics company, Electro was at first content with the role he had literally been born to fill. He quickly became absorbed in how things worked, and started to explore how his own body worked in comparison to humans. The five artificial senses he had became his main field of study, and he dreamed of becoming a big name reploid doctor whose knowledge of the human mind was second to none. He read of other scientists such as Berkana, Gate, and Prismatic Spider, and their explorations into DNA souls and the Maverick Virus.
But troubles around him soon came to a head. Bright Future Electronics, the company Electro worked for and lived under, was not known to have fair policies with their reploid workers, and always used loopholes in legislation to squeeze every dime they could out of their mechanical laborers; after all, they need not sleep or eat, and leisure time was becoming inefficient. Electro grew tired of the increasingly unfair treatment of himself and his fellow workers, and was one of the many that joined the massive protest group against company policy. They wanted better living areas than the bare boxes the company had for them, as well as less work hours and better pay. After an exhausting and long fight, the company relented. It seemed the reploids had won.
But it soon became apparent that the reforms the company promised were much less than the reploids hoped for. Feeling cheated, protests started again, but the company had a better solution: imported reploids from China. Electro had reached the breaking point after all this, and was in great mental anguish. But an oppurtunity presented itself: The Mavericks had a new leader now, and without the restraints of a virus Electro had despised. He saw the group he was once opposed to as any other reploid in a new light, as true freedom fighters, and went underground to contact them and receive his training.
