Ciel Mallory developed the first mass-production Human Enhancement Process ("e-humanization", with individuals being "e-humans") that most people are aware of. It was the primary method the first Neo Arcadia used to create its army, and continued to generate e-humans until its collapse. "Euro-Arcadia", its replacement, produces e-humans on a much more limited scale.

Ciel no longer creates e-humans. However, much of the science she developed was stolen by Dr. Weil, who has the ability to create his own e-humans. Unlike the mostly human-looking augmentations created by Ciel Mallory, Dr. Weil focuses less on appearance and more on function, creating often grotesque and disturbing abominations to augment his Pantheon forces.

Statistically, e-humans have the same CST limits as robot characters. However, Blink, Forcefield, Holograms, Telekinesis, and Reflect can not be conferred by the process.

Striders are considered e-humans, but are not manufactured. See News Striders for more information.
