Perhaps the best way to describe Dr. Josef Weil is obsessive, with controlling none too far behind. Once a lead researcher for Umbrella, Dr. Weil fell out of the corporation and into the public eye when he unleashed Omega and the Genocide Virus, designed to kill all mechanical life. A man with interests in both the human and reploid mind and body, Dr. Weil now works with Neo Arcadia. With a wary eye he is watched, as Dr. Weil keeps to himself in most affairs as he often attempts to go beyond what even the likes of Ciel would be comfortable with. Yet, with his single-minded dedication towards his work, up to this point his efforts and talents have worked well in the favor of Neo Arcadia. But, is he truly working for the cause, or is he merely using Neo Arcadia as a stepping stone to his next grand unveiling of a far more terrifying weapon?
Character Data
Dr. Josef Weil is possibly one of the most hated humans in all of the world, right under Dr. Wily and Elpizo. Though he rarely shows outward signs of insanity, most people deem Dr. Weil as a psychotic mad man. A megalomaniac and a very intelligent roboticist and geneticist, his true intentions remain a mysterious to most.
He most notably has a pention for the dramatic, both in his use of mythology and swords in his creations, and his use of zombies in Cyberspace. He continually builds mythical creatures, most notably the Cerberus and the Chimera.
He has an obsession with robots as well, especially Zero and Bass. He continually refers to them as 'perfect machines', bred and created for optimal destruction. Though he aligns himself with Neo Arcadia, he shows a like for robots and their destructive power.
Dr. Weil's true goals are often nebulous to those outside of his personal lab assistants. Many believe he is simply a killer akin to Satan while others think he is simply trying to take over the world, while others still think he is trying to kill all reploids. In fact, they are all correct. Dr. Weil can be compared to Lucifer in the idea that he wishes the same place as God, in the way of both immortality and the creation of a race in his image. Dr. Weil has some of the same goals as Wily, believing that if he could control the world(or a portion of the world in sustained conflict), he would remove many of the problems. Part of those problems are genetic diseases and problems he could allievate by perfecting the human genome and creating a race of humans that can propagate and multiply. As for Reploids, he believes they should be limited in number and reduced to an android loyalty level.
Currently, Dr. Weil controls a small portion of Belgium, sustained by a large amount of armaments taht are quickly climbing. Currently seen at the 'nuisance' level, Dr. Weil has yet to completely lash out against the robot population.
Education/Skills
Dr. Weil has several years of medical training, robotics degrees, and experience as a research head at Umbrella. He spent his time working on Tyrant projects and genetic breeding, looking for the perfect combination for humans. Dr. Weil has an extensive Reploid background, but it rarely comes out.
