Profile
Dr. Albert W. Wily is a sociopathic genius who wishes to control the world with the robots he creates. He honestly believes that the world would be a better place populated by robots with him in charge, and doesn't understand why others don't agree. Originally one of Dr. Light's colleagues, he grew jealous of the attention Dr. Light gained, using Wily's work. So Wily left, taking many of their first run of robots with him. Over the years he has either created or stolen an army of Robot Masters. In his 50's, Wily is in good shape for his age. He carries a steel-topped cane most of the time, but it's for style (and whacking Robot Masters). He is an expert in weapons technology, robotics, programming, and computer hardware; everything he needs to further his schemes of robot conquest. He continually concieves of newer and grander plots to eliminate his enemies, overthrow the government, and install himself as world ruler. He has a persistent loathing for the Mavericks due to their viral shenanigans of the past and possible future. Dr. Wily's singleminded drive is often his undoing; at the pinnacle of his plans, he will gloat, cackle, and monologue, granting his enemies the time they need to foil him!
