Profile

Pavel Cossack is a man battered by the tides of destiny. Rising from humble beginnings to become one of the greatest scientific minds in modern times, the world first felt his touch from his creation of the first ride armor, Goliath, and its pilot, Vava -- the Reploid who would become the infamous Maverick General Vile. The kidnapping of his sole biological child by Dr. Wily encouraged him to join the Maverick Hunters, where he has become an integral part of their scientific team. Since joining the Maverick Hunters, Dr. Cossack has faced the threat of the utter destruction of the world twice, the arrival of individuals from alternate universes and futures, the wholesale pogrom of humanity in Europe, the death and resurrection of Double, the appearance of preternaturally gifted ninjas, the fall of Repliforce Island, and endured a fundamental betrayal of trust by his own daughter: among other things. As one would expect, Dr. Cossack has developed several interesting psychological defects, including his continual battle with substance abuse.

Trivia

• Dr. Cossack has needed major genetic reconstruction several times during his tenure as a Hunter. He was recently regrown from his central nervous system outward after being severely damaged by Force Metal radiation.

• Dr. Cossack has several "children" (listed in approximate chronological order); Beat, Vava (Vile), Kalinka, Swing, Sasha and Axl. He reportedly has another adopted ward, Melissa Vorlaikal, though legal custody of the child is held by an Andruw Nisse.

• Dr. Cossack is a fan of Russian country music.
