CyComm (Cybernetic Communications, Incorporated) is a company based in Neo-Tokyo.
Basic Information
A pretty unimportant company, CyComm still produces only a small blip on the business radar. Previously, they built radio equipment, both stand-alone and otherwise but primarily for integration into reploid or cyborg systems. Moving onto the reploid market about four years back was a pretty big step for them. They stuck to their big guns with their first line of reploids, as they have for successive smaller lines, building technicians with radio operation and data management specialties. Many a CyComm reploid is still gainfully employed as a sysadmin or radio operator. They do good work. They make hard-working, responsible reploids who stay out of trouble. CyComm credits the success of the reploids they build with their 'unique training strategy', which is one similar to a sympathy movement still sweeping through the reploid building business today, the extreme of which is HeraCorp.
Training Strategy
From the beginning, starting with their first 100 reploids, the official CyComm policy has been to put their reploids through a one-week training and acclimation seminar in which they learn the skills of their trade and are socialized with humans and other reploids within their training group. A CyComm training group is made up of ten reploids, who in most cases consider themselves to be siblings, while CC reploids outside of that group are sometimes said to be cousins or nonrelations.
