Profile

Charlie "Airstar" Archer carries the mantle of Captain Commando into the 23rd century. Considered to be the greatest pilot of the age, Charlie began his career as an ADF fighter pilot, then later a search-and-rescue pilot. He earned numerous commendations for valor and heroism, and racked up numerous confirmed Robot Master and Maverick kills. The ace pilot "Airstar" was also used by Black SHIELD in its guise as the UN to execute numerous daring operations, which brought him to the attention of Gaus Magrevich. Gaus liked Charlie and attempted to set him up with his daughter, resulting in a disasterous chain of events that led to Charlie being dishonorably discharged from the ADF and exiled from public life. Unable to stay out of the air, Charlie became one of the most notorious air pirates of the modern era, executing numerous raids against shipping throughout the Pacific Rim and Indian Ocean. Charlie found himself wrapped up in the Gospel organization's battle against the enemies of the world, ultimately becoming the Commodore King of Sri Lanka through a daring operation. Shortly thereafter, Charlie was shot down by Repliforce and taken into the custody of Black SHIELD, which transformed him into a slave of the Professor for a time within a powerful power armor. Freed by his comrades, Charlie was ultimately brought into ADF custody. A deal was made that brought Charlie back into the service of the UN, and given the mission of becoming this generation's Captain Commando. Cocky, brash and apparently fearless, Charlie seeks now to defeat Grandmaster Meio and win back the love of his life, Teresa Magrevich.

Trivia

Charlie Archer is available for transport operations. Airstar is rumored to hang around a bar/brothel in Colombo, Sri Lanka called "The Buttery Nipple". The Buttery Nipple, operated by a "woman" named Narcy Hide, is a common place for transporters and smugglers to pick up work. It also has very reasonable drink specials.
