The Cerberus Corporation is a Yakuza front company, though it sees use more specifically from Dr. Psyche. It acts as a puppet Research and development firm through which Psyche is able to introduce what legal technology he creates into the open market, as well as generate a small regular income.

The company was originally a front owned by the hacker Synth, who ceded it over to Dr. Psyche for reasons unknown.
