Buster
From Megaman Mush Wiki
Buster technology was first developed by Dr. Light. It was developed from the multi-tool using capabilities of Rock before he became Mega Man. Being equipped with a Buster allows a robot to temporarily 'steal' the primary weapon of a defeated opponent, adding it to their arsenal for a time. A Buster cannot absorb a weapon from a robot unless the target's systems are damaged to the point of being near-death. In a coded sense, this means being at 0 health or below.
There exists no way to copy the weapon of a robot who is not in true critical condition; medical stasis, schematics duplication, and simulated damage do not work. In an IC sense, no one has the ability to choose to be bustered or to choose to resist being bustered. This depends only on the integrity of one's systems.
Busters can only steal the primary weapon, and can't affect any secondary weaponry or other effect. Buster users' armor generally changes color schemes when using a stolen weapon, but other changes such as accessories or personality alterations cannot be effected.
The only known robots equipped with Busters are Protoman, Mega Man, Bass, Alia and Lumine. The cyberspace avatars MegaMan.EXE and Bass.EXE use a hacking technique which is functionally identical to a Buster for other avatars, although the technology is completely different. Axl and Lumine's Emulation technology is also different from Buster and is described in a different file.
