Profile: After having spent years under Wily's mad rule, Bomb Man has finally awoken to his true self. He has begun to understand for the first time since the start of the Robot Wars the magnitude of all the destruction he has done under Wily's command. This changed the Alpha. He's no longer as obsessive about explosives as he once was, knowing the devastation they can create if left in the wrong hands (although he still enjoys creating and using them and is among the most knowledgeable about explosives on Earth). Even his freedom from the Wily code and his guilt about the past has not changed Bomb Man's cheerful and easygoing look at life. That's not to say that he doesn't want to make amends or knows his guilt, he just refuses to let Wily ruin the rest of his life. While Bomb Man is normally easygoing and loves to have a good time, he does take his work with the Hunters very seriously. It's his way of making amends and he will not betray it. Bomb Man also very loyal to his family and friends, especially the other Alphas. Bomb Man also has a vain hope that the other Robot Masters can be brought out from under Wily's control and be allowed to decide upon their own course in life. Should they still be hostile and destructive, he has no qualms to taking them out. Bomb Man's weapon is armed with a wide variety of explosives, most of whom he designed and created himself. The most potent of those is the dreaded Hyper Bomb, a explosive that has the same destructive power as a ton of TNT.

History

Bomb Man was invented by Dr. Light, Dr. Cain and Dr. Wily in late 2199, for the purpose of being a demolitions specialist. He began to work for the United States government in creating tunnels and doing excavations with his expertly placed demolitions, and despite the explosive power he packed, seemed to truly be beneficial for humanity. These happy days would not last.

He was ambushed in Light Labs by Doctor Albert Wily in early January 2200, and the doctor deactivated him before the android had any hope of resisting. When he came to, he found his personality parameters had been altered somewhat. Perhaps he would have questioned the limitations that Wily placed on him, had he been a different machine or capable of it. Bomb Man, however, did not question it. He rather liked his new parameters, and went straight to business for Wily. He participated in the takeover of San Angeles, and claimed the former San Francisco harbor as his own. He fought hard against Rock, but was ultimately subdued in a fierce battle.

Bomb Man was later rescued and rebuilt by Wily, and awoke in time to fight in the war against the Repliforce. The robot fought hard, and took an active, even eager role in the terrorist actions of the Robot Masters. A fair number of landmarks and key strategic positions were taken out by his well-placed explosives. In the end, however, the strengthened Robot Masters succumbed. Bomb Man fell when he was lured into a trap set by Sigma and the Repliforce's special operations unit.

He would be rebuilt and reactivated a third time to join the War of the Machines. Since then, he has fought with the same gusto as always. Despite the two losses, Bomb Man has not given up. He may not have a choice about it, but he truly loves his job and wants to do it well. He has engaged in most every major battle that the Robot Masters have fought in, though in 2215, he met an unfortunate accident when he was caught in a Repliforce artillery barrage. After spending some time being reconstructed Bomb man has just recently returned to active duty.

Since his reawakening Bomb man has fought against Ra Moon, Kaiser Sigma and even the alternate versions of his brothers Elec Man and Cut Man.

Bomb Man survived the explosion of Eclipse as he was in his newly made bar called the Golden met at the time. His response to Blues blowing up three giant cities was reported to be: "Damn I wish I thought of that."

After Rock's defeat at the hands of Nidhogg(a super sized wily dragon powered by a incredibly powerful energy called the star seed) Bomb Man celebrated with his brothers at the same bar. He had joined in on the battle against the president of the U.S.A but had been driven off.

However a few days later as all of the alphas and Blues were gathered at the same bar(freshly rebuilt for the ninth time). Bomb Man watched his creators fight with they're ultimate weapons with interest, cheering Wily on. All that changed as the two scientists crash landed on top of his bar. Breaking it's roof. Dr. Light died shortly afterwards, the injuries were to much for him to handle. But upon his death, something in the wily code broke. Suddenly all the alphas were freed from they're programming, and in a instant they remembered everything they had ever done for Wily. All the pain and misery they had created, all the hurt they had caused to those they loved. And in that instant Wily's fate was sealed. Stripped of his ultimate weapon and helpless against the Alpha's wrath. Wily could do nothing as each and every one of them took out they're vengeance against him, culminating with Guts man throwing him into the atmosphere.

After being freed from the wily code Bomb Man was confused and did not really know what to do, but at last he decided to join the hunters to try and make amends for all the damage he and his brothers had done.

Abilities

Bomb Man is one of the very first androids to be designed by Doctor Thomas Light and Doctor Albert Wily. He was programmed with the knowledge of demolitions and creating his own explosives. Once reprogrammed by Doctor Wily, he had basic combat training and knowledge installed into him. This is primarily basic tactics and ranged warfare, but includes standard military self-defense.

Bomb Man also possesses an encyclopedic knowledge about most kind of explosives and anything connected to them as well as knowledge of how to deploy them for the best result, as well as to disarm them(though this is very very very rare)

Trivia

Bomb Man, like many of the Robot masters does not have a nose, nor a sense of smell and usually forgets that these things even exist.

Bomb Man harbors a slight dislike for Sigma even if Sigma is dead. Sigma was the one who captured him a long time ago and Bomb still carries a grudge.

Bomb Man is quite the sports fan of games such as golf and football. He always plays with house rules (read explosives) however and for some reason no one enjoys playing with Bomb Man.

Bomb Man loves his mohawk and takes good care of it. Breaking, cutting or otherwise damaging his mohawk pisses Bomb man off.

Bomb Man enjoys destroying old things, the older the better.

Bomb Man is something of an blastomaniac (like a pyromaniac but with explosions instead of fire) and enjoys explosions and destruction immensely.

Bomb man once sold Dust man to Crazy Yoshi for two vegeta bars and a chunk of cheese. That ended with dust being a maid for the hunters for a time.

Bomb man used to have a large collection of explosives and bombs but with the fall of the wily drome, most of them were destroyed. He is currently trying to rebuild his collection.
