Blackguards

The Blackguard consisted of a number of the MUSH's OCs and FCs. Rumor led many individuals to the ruins of El Paso, where Ra Moon appeared to them. He only asked them 'what do you wish?', and let them express their frustrations about the war and the world. Ra Moon could grant the Blackguards pretty much just what they wished for, and with them he formed a rather large fighting force. Many of them were killed for their betrayal over the course of the TP, typically by their former friends, most hated enemies or superiors. This list is not complete.

  • Smash Balrog - Smash was a highly unintelligent Maverick who attempted to gain the power of Ra Moon to 'help Big Head', assuming he would remain loyal to Sigma. He was cured of the Sigma Virus and given greatly enhanced intelligence. Smash was killed personally by Sigma as he explained the flaws of Smash's logic to him.
  • Baroque - Baroque, a Heracorp Hacker had become fed up of the effects Wily was having on the world, due to multiple defeats in the virtual world and the conversion of Meddy. He became able to substantiate his virtual armor in the real world, making him a size 10 time-manipulating monstrosity called TickTock. He was killed when Zach Glen reversed the code of his body, causing the virtual form to collapse, and he was shot dead by Glen. Riot provided back up to buy the hacker the time he needed.
  • Dr. Psyche - Dr. Psyche is the mad rival of Gaudile and lifelong enemy of Cinnamon. Unable to take Cinnamon's force metal generator, he was given a force metal generator of his own, which he thought would allow him to heal the other Blackguard. He was wrong, being emotionally incapable of using the FMG to heal. In the massive attack on the Tower of Light, he was waylaid by Cinnamon, Gaudile and Steel Massimo. While Gaudile and CInnamon told him why he was unable to aid, Massimo worked on destroying the villain. He cut out the Force Metal Generator from Dr. Psyche and blew it up before he attempted to destroy Psyche, the first time this Massimo has used lethal force. Psyche managed to 'cheat death' and Ra Moon by uploading his mind to a backup in his base. However, this permanently damaged his mind, rendering him mad beyond redemption.
  • Kirin Mathers - The original Blackguard and Voice of Ra Moon, Kirin was originally an Umbrella Biomonster called the Blade Dancer. The only True Believer in Ra Moon's cause, she joined not for power but to ultimately end her own existence. The nominal 'leader' of the Blackguard via sheer force of will and raw sadism, Kirin was given her human form as well as control of a number of elements, most notably sonic emissions. During an attempt to kidnap Alouette, she was killed by Ciel who used a custom-designed biological virus to cause her DNA to unravel.
  • Mirror Orange - Mirror Orange was a heroic and much-loved Maverick Hunter, who was unfortunately afflicted with a split personality. His mirror-like duality made the 'Blue Mirage' selfish and cruel, and had had to be restrained in the past. 'Blue Mirage' was given full control of his body, sealing Mirror Orange up. He was also killed in the attack on the Tower of Light, being wounded by Alpha and having his neural net burst by Dr. Light in the Hunters' Inferno tank.
  • Isamu -Isamu was a corrupt Strider who attempted to turn a great number of the Striders to evil. He brought Linnea Blossom and attempted to convert others. He was granted greatly enhanced physical abilities, but very little was seen or heard of him in subsequent actions, and he apparently disappeared.
  • Linnea Blossom - Linnea Blossom was one of the original Red Dragon Striders, and was a reploid who longed to be a real human. She was led by Isamu and was turned from a reploid into a human. She, however, was less than happy with what she was being forced to do, taking it out in random bouts of fury; she eventually admitted to Liese Schreiner who she was working for. At the Tower of Light attack, she was assigned to disable the power in the basement; she fought Liese again and lost, although her back was broken in the conflict. Whether she threw the fight or not is under debate. She provided the Hunters with the location and a map of Tora Bora, and was released after Ra Moon was successfully defeated. (She was not made a Hunter at this time.)
  • Tengu Man - The perennial betrayer of the Robot Masters decided he hated his faction and father and wanted to destroy them all. Tengu Man was freed from the Wilycode. He earned the spectacular hatred of the entire faction, and was defeated by Sword Man in Tora Bora. Wily subsequently removed all of Ra Moon's upgrades and restored his personality from a fresh copy.
  • Hien - Hien, a clone created from the DNA of several Striders, desired nothing less than killing absolutely everyone on the world. He was given abilities unknown by Ra Moon, and led a massive attack on Moscow using a gigantic robotic dragon. He was confronted by Hiryu, who entered a form of beyond-human ability called 'Boost Mode' and used it to kill Hien by decapitating him.
  • Sean Keanan (True Eye cult leader) - Little is known about this individual, as he was not granted power noticeably and did not participate in any major event. He only became known after the defeat of Ra Moon in Willamette, where he kidnapped several survivors in the mall and held them there during the zombie attacks. He confronted the trapped heroes seeking to solve the mystery, where he displayed greatly enhanced physical abilities and attacked them with a sword. He also singled out Linnea Blossom, but was killed by her when she threw him onto a sword-holding mannequin over the altar, impaling him.
  • Fashionable Feline - Fashionable was a civilian fashion designer who was ejected from Repliforce. Greedy and self-centered, he desired nothing but pure power and the ability to revenge himself on Repliforce. He was granted the Ride Armor 'Devil Bear', which was horrendously powerful. However, like Isamu, he disappeared and his ultimate fate it unknown.
  • Javelin Whitetail - Javelin Whitetail had already betrayed almost every major faction of the world. She came to El Paso because it was supposedly expected of her. She did not tell Ra Moon what her wish was, and she confronted him on her terms. Ra Moon gave her things he felt she wanted, and she was cured of the Sigma Virus and given greater charisma than Sigma. However, she rejected the things Ra Moon gave her, and refused to be a part of his goals. Ra Moon restored her to normal and carved his 'eye' insignia on her before ejecting her from El Paso.
