Profile
Cunning, sadistic, arrogant, and obsessed, Bass is quite possibly one of the most deadly and powerful androids in existence. Created by Wily to serve the sole purpose of destroying Rock, Bass was designed with similar specifications. Due to this, he was automatically placed in command of the Robot Master forces, second only to Wily. Bass is the only Robot Master with no preprogrammed limits on his behavior, and he tends to contradict his creator on a somewhat regular basis. He is almost never punished for his insolence however, as Wily knows that without Bass on his side, his hopes for global conquest are nigh-impossible. Bass is never without his mechawolf Treble, who not only is a dangerous foe, but can also serve as a form of transportation as well as battle armor for Bass, increasing his power considerably. Without his armor, he can easily pass for a typical human of Asian descent. He tends to be a loner, despite his position, and prefers to be with just Treble in his off time.
Background
Bass's origins are steeped in hate and towering rage, a foreshadowing of his future everyday life. Created by Dr. Wily using specifications of Protoman (They were the plans he had on hand at the time), Bass was created to be the ultimate warrior. Much of his first few weeks were spent studying. He combed over and analyzed every aspect of Mega Man. Every piece of information, every battle recording -- nothing escaped his notice. He learned all he could about Mega Man. The obsession burst from embers into a roaring fire, and it set the stage for years to come.
Then came Berlin. Bass chose his timing, and pounced on a wounded Mega Man. While the battle could have been short, Bass took his time, trying to make the Blue Bomber suffer. Even Treble, Bass's companion, took his time in devastating Rush. Finally, a vicious Bass struck Mega Man down and began using his bare hands, savoring his ultimate victory. Things were looking good for the Robot Masters, victory was imminent. Until Protoman showed up and blasted Bass to hell and left him for dead.
Since then, it's been a brutal cycle of physical and emotional violence. Sometimes Mega Man comes out on top. Sometimes it's Bass. In the end, only one can stand victorious over the broken body of the other. Bass will do everything in his power to see that it's him.
Trivia/Facts
- When Bass thinks absolutely nobody is around to hear him, he calls Treble 'Trebbiepuppins.'
