Profile: Constructed with the intention of using his internal furnace to shape metal and burn refuse, Bakery Fornax learned how to modify his internal temperature and forged a career for himself as a professional chef. However, due to continued pressure from his original creators constantly ruining his professional life, culminating in the collapse of his livelihood, the disgruntled chef joined the new incarnation of the Mavericks. Not generally evil or vicious, Bakery is more of a bully and always lets anyone within earshot know that he, like many new Mavericks, are just flat-out better than humans. His speciality recipes are pies and various kinds of pastry, although many of his concoctions are inedible by humans. In combat, he can spit great masses of fire from his central tower, creating the destructive Blaze Blaster.
Background
Constructed as Gear Fornax, Bakery decided he liked cooking better, and shoved off to bake for a living. His makers, who believed in form defining function, irritated and hassled him constantly over the years, until eventually trying to buy out the company he worked for. Over these years, he'd already got generally fed up of humans who didn't appreciate the sensory rainbow of fine food and drink as much as reploids did, so he threw his hands up and just joined the freakin' CRF already.
Trivia/Facts
- His quote was inspired by the character Box from the movie Logan's Run.
- Bakery is apparently said to be one of the few noteable Mavericks who are pro-reploid rather than kill-humans.
- Bakery was inspired by a drawing done by Khroan, but since then his design has taken on some more unique characteristics that make it a little different to the original drawing.
- Bakery Fornax seems to have no fear of Vile, and frequently toes the line when it comes to interacting with him. One of these days, he's gonna get such a kicking.
- He hates Molly Ribbita.
