Profile
Francine McDonald was regarded as a bitchy, cold, unyielding, rather unapproacheable and heavy-handed young woman, who was badly affected by the robot wars. Previously the daughter of a noble family, the war hit them in many indirect ways, and generally being jostled in the crowd one too many times brought her to the point of ruin. The attacks on the Housemans brought her to Neo Arcadia- the Housemans would continue to have a connection to her throughout her life. She joined Neo Arcadia and became the understudy of Leviathan, serving as her new apprentice. She was traumatised by the death of Thomas Houseman, and her composture broke in berzerk rages at times. When Neo Arcadia collapsed, she recieved treatment for these from Dr. Regal, and became a member of Umbrella.
Background
Alicia MacDonnel is one of Umbrella's administrative individuals, although she can be found doing field work in the Biohazard countermeasures group. She fulfils both roles in Umbrella, and although severely overworked, makes more money. She look far more of a business role and didn't really stray from the office very much at all.
Alicia MacDonnel is actually the secret identity of the former Neo Arcadian agent Francine McDonald, who abandoned the ideals she felt were tiresome and inacessible in favour of security and stability. When Neo Arcadia collapsed, she journeyed across the country on foot and met up with Dr. Regal, who used cosmetic surgery and exposure control to create a new life for her.
In the previous life of Francine McDonald, she was a Neo Arcadian field agent and general mini-Leviathan, using a pair of pistols and a disregard for robots to deadly effect. She achieved some degree of infamy for invading Switzerland when Neo Arcadia was on the hoof and holding several dignitaries to ransom, which Elpizo broke off before she could implement her plans.
As previously mentioned, she also met Thomas Houseman during the attack of Ra Moon, and developed a crush on him. When he was killed by Mavericks, she was traumatised by this, and suffered berzerk rages at times which she refused to be treated for. As Neo Arcadia continued to collapse, however, she realised that she would have to keep her sanity and healed herself. She became distrustful of Sage Harpuia and eventually drifted away from the group, although at one time she was almost willing to go with Dr Weil before she realised that she would be hated and attacked.
During the incident on the 17-2-20 when the world was smothered in darkness, she apparently disappeared entirely. She is presumed dead or lost.
Trivia/Facts
-Alicia met Thomas Houseman during the attack of the Robot Gentlemen, where they worked together to defend London. She fell in love with him at first sight, and upon his death at the hands of the Mavericks, lapsed into a state of berzerker rage which she had occasional flashbacks to, until this was cured by Dr. Regal.
-Her appearence is not all that it seems. Although she appears heavily muscled, this is a factor of the suit, which has face muscle structure built in. This is to disguise her E-human strength and justify her ability to lift her Pile Bunker.
-Alicia could not resist keeping some visual cues of her old life, which only she knows the significance of. The scar over her eye was caused when she stole a harpy eagle from Las Vegas for Dr. Weil in the last mission she ever performed for Neo Arcadia, and is a symbol of Weil's betrayal. Her blue hair was engineered using a retrovirus Ciel made available to the public in the early days of Neo Arcadia, and is a symbol of NA's golden age.

Francine took a very long time to apply for. She was very much a top-down design- I'd found a website with a bunch of artwork that was free and unused, so I took several of them and built Arcadian characters around them until one really worked. I always wonder what would have happened if I'd picked the girl with big claw hands or the guy who fought with a strip of cloth.
I don't think she ever really lived up to her skills, which is a shame. She was definitely an Arcadian's Arcadian, though. I wonder if that time in Switzerland will ever make it into the newsfiles. She was also fun to play as I'd never really had a gunslinger type character before. She was very mentally colorful.
